As a Delivery Truck Driver at US FOODS®, you will play a vital role in the company’s operations by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of a wide range of products including meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies. This position offers a competitive starting wage of $25.00 per hour during training, with opportunities for incentive pay following completion of training. Most drivers work either a 5-day or 4-day workweek, providing a good balance between work and personal life. Delivering products on local routes allows drivers to be home every night, which is a significant advantage for those seeking consistent work hours with the comfort of returning home daily.

The role demands strong customer service skills as delivery drivers are often the face of US FOODS® to their customers. Your responsibility includes not only the safe transport and timely delivery of goods but also maintaining positive, trustworthy relationships with customers. Drivers must be capable of handling manual heavy lifting up to 80 pounds regularly, unloading products using a hand truck, and making multiple stops during shifts, regardless of weather conditions. Verification of delivery items and collection of payments (cash or checks) when necessary are additional duties that highlight the importance of accuracy and responsibility in this role.
