The role being offered is that of a delivery driver, a critical position within LKQ's operations. Working Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5pm, this full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage of $21 per hour. The delivery driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to deliver products to customers efficiently and accurately. This position involves the manual loading and unloading of delivery trucks, verifying the condition and correctness of the products loaded and unloaded, obtaining customer signatures upon delivery, and managing returned items. Attention to detail, safety compliance, and excellent customer service are vital components of this role.
Beyond the core responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to comply with all company and regulatory policies, including annual training requirements and adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. This role requires physical stamina to handle loads up to 75 pounds, the ability to work in various environments including cramped or noisy settings, and readiness to travel occasionally. Job Requirements
- No degree required
- 1+ years of experience required
- possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- must qualify for corporate insurance programs, including vehicle insurance
- must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
- must be at least 21 years of age
- must comply with state and local mandated requirements as well as Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations
Job Qualifications

- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc.

Job Duties
- Drive a company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner avoiding traffic violations and accidents
- physically load company truck at the location and verify the condition of the truck, the manifest, and other paperwork associated with the deliveries to be made
- drive to the delivery destination and physically unload the truck, verify parts unloaded, obtain signature of receiving location, confirming the accuracy of parts shown on the order and those received, and sign off on the integrity of what was loaded at the location
- make proper notations on the manifest and provide receipts on parts being returned from customers to the location
- collect accounts receivable, as necessary
- comply with established company policies and procedures
- successful completion of annual training as assigned
- operate in compliance with applicable rules and regulations set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
- provide excellent customer service during delivery/pick up of products
- assume other duties as assigned
