As a delivery driver, your primary responsibility will be to deliver sandwiches and related products efficiently, courteously, and safely to customers within the designated delivery area. In addition to delivery duties, you will also be tasked with in-store responsibilities, working as an In shopper during slow delivery periods, which includes tasks such as sandwich preparation, assisting customers, and maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant.
This role is vital since it directly influences customer satisfaction by assuring orders are accurate, handled with care, and delivered promptly. You are expected to practice strong communication skills when taking telephone orders and providing excellent customer service during in-person interactions. Cash handling is another key component, as you will be accepting payments, providing change, and reconciling cash at the end of your shift with management.
Your performance will also be evaluated on compliance with established company standards, including maintaining sandwich quality by adhering strictly to portion sizes, recipes, and procedures. Passing a sandwich test within the first two weeks and on subsequent occasions ensures consistent quality. Furthermore, maintaining a clean and sanitary restaurant environment is critical, ensuring that all areas such as tables, floors, restrooms, windows, and beverage stations meet sanitation standards.

Job Duties
- Takes telephone orders and completes delivery tickets in a courteous and timely manner
- Delivers sandwich orders to customers in a safe, courteous and timely manner in established delivery area only
- Accepts payment from customers for orders
- Works with management at the end of the shift to reconcile cash from delivery sales
- Makes fast, accurate and consistent sandwiches
- Complies with all portion sizes, recipes, systems and procedures
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including all tables, floors, windows, beverage station and restrooms
