Job Requirements

  • One or more years of relevant experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Qualification for corporate insurance programs including vehicle insurance
  • Meet DOT testing and physical requirements
  • Knowledgeable of DOT regulations
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Compliance with state, local, DOT, and FMCSA regulations

Job Qualifications

  • No degree required
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record
  • Must qualify for corporate insurance programs including vehicle insurance
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
  • Capability to communicate basic messages orally and write brief messages
  • Familiarity with using Outlook, Word, Excel, and graphic software
  • Ability to follow clear directions and standard procedures
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Six months related delivery driving experience preferred
  • Prior warehouse operations experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Job Duties

  • Drive a company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner avoiding traffic violations and accidents
  • Manually load company truck at the location and verify the condition of the truck, the manifest, and related paperwork
  • Drive to delivery destinations and physically unload the truck while verifying parts unloaded
  • Obtain signatures from receiving locations confirming accuracy of parts delivered
  • Make proper notations on the manifest and provide receipts for returned parts
  • Collect accounts receivable from customers as necessary
  • Comply with established company policies and procedures
  • Successfully complete annual training assignments
  • Operate in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service during delivery and pickup processes
  • Assume other duties as assigned
