Job Description
Logiscal is a routed delivery service provider dedicated to supporting meal delivery programs such as CookUnity. The company specializes in partnering with independent contractor drivers to facilitate scheduled delivery routes, primarily focusing on the distribution of pre-packaged, chef-crafted fresh meals. As a service provider, Logiscal ensures seamless coordination of routing, scheduling, dispatch, and real-time support to maintain high standards of delivery performance and customer satisfaction. Operating as a pivotal logistics partner within the meal delivery ecosystem, Logiscal combines technology-driven solutions with a human touch to guarantee timely and reliable meal delivery to customers. This includes leveraging platforms like Gigee to manage onboarding, compliance, payments, and ongoing operational support for drivers. Logiscal’s commitment to flexible work arrangements and well-organized route planning offers independent drivers the opportunity to work on their own terms while contributing to an efficient delivery experience for end recipients.
This role involves becoming a Driver Partner with Logiscal, working as an independent contractor responsible for completing scheduled delivery routes. The position offers the advantage of routed deliveries that eliminate wait times typically associated with traditional restaurant deliveries. Drivers pick up pre-packed meals from a designated local hub and complete a predetermined set of stops along an optimized route within a defined delivery window. The use of a mobile app facilitates navigation and delivery documentation, streamlining the workflow for drivers. Scheduled primarily on Tuesdays with specific pickup windows, this role offers flexibility in terms of route acceptance, allowing drivers to choose only the routes that fit their schedules. Driver Partners work closely with Logiscal's dispatch team who provide route details and real-time support, ensuring all deliveries are handled professionally and efficiently.
This independent contractor opportunity does not offer employee benefits but enables drivers to operate as self-employed individuals, enjoying autonomy over their work frequency and hours. Pay ranges between $110.00 and $150.00 per day for each completed route. Drivers are responsible for using their own vehicle and verifying all assigned bags before starting delivery. Additionally, they may be required to handle recyclables or return packaging during routes. The company provides robust onboarding support through the Gigee platform, which manages driver profiles, compliance verification with Gigsafe, and facilitates transparent payment processing via Everee. Overall, this position blends flexibility, structured delivery operations, and steady opportunities for drivers seeking contract-based work in the meal delivery sector.
