For almost half a century, the Nuclear Pharmacy Services segment of Cardinal Health has set unmatched standards within the radiopharmaceutical industry. This branch operates a network of over 130 pharmacies nationwide, filling 65 percent of radiopharmaceutical unit doses across the country. This leadership is rooted in a commitment to innovation, excellence, and safety. Cardinal Health is currently offering an exciting full-time opportunity for a Nuclear Pharmacy Driver who will be responsible for the critical role of delivering radiopharmaceutical medications safely and efficiently to customer accounts. The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with flexibility required to accommodate different days, hours, and schedules based on operational needs.

As a Nuclear Pharmacy Driver, the individual will be entrusted with packaging radiopharmaceutical medications, performing necessary testing, loading and unloading containers, and handling all logistics related to safe delivery. The role demands strict adherence to safety and Department of Transportation regulations, along with the ability to utilize technology such as handheld tablets for scanning orders, navigating routes, and maintaining accurate documentation. The driver will be involved in general facility cleaning, minor vehicle maintenance, and roadside repairs to ensure operational efficiency. This position plays a vital role in maintaining Cardinal Health's reputation for reliability and superior service delivery. The hourly pay rate is $17.50, and the company is currently offering a $1,000 new hire sign-on bonus. Though bonus eligible is marked as no, the employment package includes comprehensive benefits aimed at supporting overall health and well-being. Job Qualifications

  • prior delivery driving experience a plus
  • ability to lift containers weighing up to 75 pounds

  • ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time

Job Duties

  • Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle
  • packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
  • uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
  • processes packages returned from customer locations
  • maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
  • performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required
  • demonstrates basic knowledge of process and systems that support product delivery including but not limited to technology assisted packaging system (Isotrac) and the route optimization tablet
