The Delivery Driver role at Staples is a vital position within the Supply Chain team, responsible for ensuring that office supplies and products reach customers safely and promptly along assigned routes. This full-time position requires a dedicated individual capable of navigating various weather and road conditions while adhering strictly to safety protocols. Delivery Drivers organize and load products efficiently, utilize technology such as GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery devices, and uphold a high standard of customer service by addressing customer needs and solving problems on the go. Safety is paramount; drivers are expected to perform pre-trip vehicle inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and wear safety composite shoes. This role involves the physical demands of lifting up to 70 pounds, pushing and pulling heavier items with the assistance of equipment, and occasionally maneuvering loads weighing up to 130 pounds. Drivers are the face of Staples on their routes, embodying the company's brand through courteous interactions and reliable service.
