The Non-CDL Driver role at Trulite Glass represents a vital position within the company's logistics and delivery team. This role is designed for individuals who are motivated, responsible, and eager to provide excellent customer service while ensuring timely and accurate delivery of glass products. The position is full-time, offering a day shift schedule, and the pay range is competitive, between $17 and $19 per hour.

As a Non-CDL Driver, you will be responsible for planning and executing efficient delivery and pick-up routes throughout the day. This includes transporting glass products to designated customer locations, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt as necessary, and coordinating pickups of items that need to be returned or moved within the company's network. Your duties will also involve maintaining accurate truck logs in compliance with state and federal regulations, completing vehicle inspections before and after trips, and ensuring the delivery vehicle receives necessary maintenance. Effective communication with supervisors during deliveries is essential, utilizing telephone or radio to receive instructions and report any issues.

This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes physically demanding environment. You will need to load and unload heavy glass products safely—lifting a minimum of 75 pounds regularly—while wearing steel toe boots for safety. The job also occasionally involves assisting in general warehouse duties when your delivery routes are complete.

To excel in this position, candidates must have previous delivery driving experience, a valid driver’s license without restrictions, and a good driving record. Familiarity with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, as well as proficiency in using online log systems and navigation tools, is crucial. Strong organizational skills, the ability to read and write English, basic math knowledge, and map reading skills are also important. Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred, as is the capability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
