Drivers must adeptly use technology such as GPS systems and mobile Proof of Delivery devices to maintain accurate records and ensure deliveries are logged efficiently. The job involves physical activity, including lifting and maneuvering heavy items, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle through regular inspections. Drivers are required to hold a valid drivers license with a safe driving record, pass DOT physicals and drug screenings, and possess the necessary medical cards specific to commercial driving. This position provides a competitive hourly wage ranging from $21.75 to $24.00 based on experience, along with additional incentives through Staples' Safety Program and benefits applicable to both full-time and part-time associates.

Overall, the Staples Delivery Driver role offers a career opportunity in a vibrant and inclusive environment where employees can grow their skills in logistics, customer service, and operational efficiency. The position aligns with Staples' commitment to community and employee well-being by offering comprehensive benefits including paid time off, health and wellness programs, and company matching on retirement plans.
