The delivery driver role at Papa John's is vital in ensuring that customers receive their orders promptly, accurately, and in excellent condition. The primary responsibility is to check all products against quality standards, prepare the delivery vehicle, navigate delivery routes efficiently, and provide courteous and professional service at every interaction. This role requires a strong sense of urgency and teamwork, as delivery drivers often support other kitchen workstations by making products, preparing ingredients, and assisting with order taking when necessary. A delivery driver must be punctual, able to handle cash transactions accurately using the FOCUS System, and adhere to the company's safety and security standards. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while contributing to the overall customer experience and the company’s sales efforts through suggestive selling and friendly communication. This is a team-player position that also demands personal responsibility for maintaining a clean and organized work environment and complying with all local, state, and federal laws related to delivery operations. Job Duties

Perform duties including pre-delivery vehicle preparation, learning the delivery area, checking orders for quality and accuracy, following proper delivery procedures
Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers in person or by phone
Act with a sense of urgency in everything they do
Perform other assigned workstation duties including making quality products, preparing ingredients and taking orders
Work as part of a team and assist each other by being on time for their shift, supporting other workstations during their shift and completing all closing duties, including cleaning, at the end of each shift
Accurately process order paperwork and payment transactions, execute cash management duties, and use the FOCUS System
Support sales efforts by suggestively selling to increase the check average when taking an order and distributing door hangers during every shift
Protect the company’s assets by maintaining organized, safe, and clean work areas
