Job Description

JS Fort Group, Inc. is an independently owned and operated franchise of the renowned Jimmy John's Franchise, LLC system, located at 2336 W Lawrence Ave, Chicago, IL. Known for its dedication to fresh, high-quality ingredients and speedy service, Jimmy John's has been a beloved sandwich shop since 1983. The company prides itself on slicing all-natural meats and fresh veggies daily in-house, baking fresh bread right in front of customers, and preparing house-made items such as their signature tuna salad every day. This local franchise maintains the high standards of the national brand while fostering a community-centered environment and providing an excellent customer experience.

The company places a strong emphasis on the concept of "Jimmy Fresh," which captures the essence of consistently using fresh ingredients to craft delicious sandwiches made with care and love. A Jimmy John's sandwich combines ripe tomatoes, crisp shredded lettuce, fresh-baked bread, freshly sliced meats, and real Hellmann's mayonnaise to deliver a distinctive flavor experience. This commitment to quality and freshness has helped Jimmy John's maintain its reputation and loyal customer base for decades.

The role of Delivery Driver with JS Fort Group, Inc. offers a flexible and rewarding employment opportunity. Delivery Drivers earn competitive compensation, with the potential to take home $25 or more per hour through a combination of tips, a Driver Maintenance Reimbursement (DMR), and an hourly wage. Shifts range from short 11am-2pm slots to meal rush periods covering lunch and dinner, allowing drivers to find a schedule that suits their availability and lifestyle. Tips and DMR payments are issued daily, providing drivers with consistent short-term earning rewards.

Delivery Drivers play a critical role in the customer experience, ensuring that orders reach customers accurately and promptly. Success in this role involves learning the most efficient delivery routes, verifying each order thoroughly, and hustling on the feet while maintaining safety and abiding by traffic laws. When not delivering, drivers lend support inside the store by preparing sandwiches, taking orders, and assisting with cleaning, and are compensated for their in-store work as well.

This customer service position is ideal for individuals who take pride in delivering excellent service with a positive attitude and a friendly smile, as these qualities can lead to highly successful days. Drivers' attentiveness to customer requests and efficient delivery help build repeat business, contributing to the overall success of the franchise.

JS Fort Group also offers a range of valuable benefits to its employees including reimbursement for personal cell phone usage, free meals during shifts, opportunities for career advancement, retirement planning through Illinois Secure Choice, and paid sick time and paid time off after qualifying periods. These benefits demonstrate the company's commitment to supporting its staff and fostering a positive work environment.

Working as a Delivery Driver for JS Fort Group means being part of a well-established, customer-focused team with a strong legacy of quality food and service. The company is an equal opportunity employer and adheres to all employment laws and regulations, ensuring a fair and welcoming workplace for all team members.
