Job Description
Central Mississippi Pizza (CMS) is a locally owned and operated pizza delivery company committed to providing exceptional service and fostering a supportive work environment. With a deep-rooted presence in the community, CMS prides itself on being the number one choice in every area it serves by prioritizing safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The company operates with a motivating motto, "Less Stress, More Success," which highlights its focus on creating a low-stress workplace while driving success both for the business and its team members. CMS understands the importance of balancing work with fun, offering flexible schedules and a variety of incentives to keep its drivers engaged and rewarded for their efforts.
The delivery driver role at Central Mississippi Pizza is designed to offer more than just a job—it is an opportunity to join a team where personal growth, community involvement, and steady income come together. Drivers at CMS earn competitive wages ranging from $15 to $20 per hour, combining base pay with tips, mileage pay, and a safe driving bonus. Drivers receive cash tips daily, supporting a consistent and rewarding compensation structure. The company also provides paid hands-on training to ensure every driver is well-prepared and confident on the road from day one. Beyond pay, drivers benefit from employee discounts on pizza, advancement opportunities (with 90 percent of franchise owners having started as drivers), and the chance to participate in community events through partnerships and networking.
Delivering for CMS means being the friendly and professional face of the brand throughout the local community. Drivers are expected to safely transport pizza orders to customers' doors while maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism. Alongside delivery duties, drivers gain valuable skills in time management, multitasking under pressure, and operating the latest pizza-making technology—the company uses advanced equipment that ranks CMS as a leader in the pizza industry. This job also offers the unique chance to learn various store operations, including oven tending, giving drivers an inside look at the entire pizza-making process.
Working at CMS promotes a diverse and inclusive work culture where employees are encouraged to bring their unique personality and style to the team. The company emphasizes a supportive and fun atmosphere, making it a positive space for all employees to grow and succeed. Additionally, CMS offers a 401K program, securing long-term benefits for its employees. With a flexible hourly position and the option for cash payments after each shift, CMS makes it financially convenient for drivers. The friendly management and strong community focus make Central Mississippi Pizza not just a workplace but a place to build a career or supplement income with a trusted employer.
