The Delivery Assistant position at McLane is a fast-paced, physically demanding role that supports Delivery Drivers in executing timely and accurate deliveries. Although Delivery Assistants do not operate the delivery trucks, they are critical representatives of McLane's commitment to customer service. Delivery Assistants handle loading and unloading of goods, organizing products into food-safe storage areas as designated by customers, and assisting drivers to meet delivery schedules. The position involves substantial physical activity including bending, lifting, and walking, often handling items weighing up to 75 pounds.
