The Delivery & Warehouse Associate role at UOVO Wine is a vital position that supports the daily operations of receiving inbound deliveries, executing pickups and deliveries within scheduled deadlines, and assisting clients who visit the storage facility. The associate acts as the face of the UOVO Wine brand, embodying professionalism and customer service excellence. Responsibilities also include maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, managing inventory logistics, aiding in the preparation and shipment of wine cases, and supporting a variety of daily warehouse projects. This position demands strong organizational skills, time management abilities, and physical endurance due to the nature of handling wine cases and working in varying temperature environments, including a controlled 55-degree warehouse. The associate will also partake in team meetings and contribute to special projects aimed at improving operational workflow. Practical experience with delivery logistics, warehouse machinery such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, and sensitivity to client confidentiality is essential. This role requires a mix of physical activity, analytical skills, and customer service finesse, making it perfectly suited for a motivated individual eager to grow within a dynamic and growing company. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • be able to pass the Federal DOT physical and obtain a Federal DOT driver’s license if applicable
  • 1 - 3 years delivery and driving experience
  • 1 - 3 years warehouse experience
  • ability to keep client account information confidential

Job Duties

  • Conduct local pickup and deliveries as needed
  • put together shipping cases as needed
  • move, organize, build, and break down shipping pallets as needed
  • consolidate inventories as needed
  • conduct pick and pull requests and prepare wines/cases for pickup or shipping as needed
  • perform offsite activities in client cellars, outside locations, and other storage facilities
  • keep the warehouse organized and cleaned on a daily basis
  • ensure the security of the property before departure on a daily basis
  • function and participate as a team member in meetings and special projects
  • perform other related duties as assigned
