The Delivery & Installation Driver role, based in Springfield, MO, is a full-time position offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend work, alongside a competitive hourly wage range of $18 to $20. This position involves safely operating company vehicles such as box trucks and vans to deliver office equipment and supplies to customers within the Springfield metro area. In addition to delivery duties, the role requires assisting with the installation and proper positioning of office technology at customer sites, ensuring solutions are fully functional and ready for use. The individual in this role will be the face of SumnerOne in the field and provide essential support in the warehouse during non-delivery periods.
The ideal candidate is responsible, dependable, and customer-focused with prior experience in delivery, driving, or warehouse operations preferred. They must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, with a Class E CDL preferred or a willingness to obtain one. Physical capability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing over 75 pounds regularly with assistance is essential, as is a professional demeanor when representing the company in customer office environments. Reliability and punctuality are crucial, given the impact on the team and customer experience, as is flexibility during high-volume seasons which may require occasional overtime.

Job Requirements
- Must pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and insurability under SumnerOne’s vehicle policy
- Class E (CDL) preferred

- Fluency in spoken and written English required to effectively communicate with team members and customers

Job Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles (box trucks, vans) to deliver office equipment and supplies to customer locations across the local Springfield, MO area
- Assist with general installation and positioning of office technology at customer sites using proper tools and techniques
- Represent SumnerOne professionally at every customer interaction - you set the tone for the relationship
- Obtain customer signatures and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Once deliveries are complete, support warehouse operations including equipment staging, wrapping, organization, and route prep for upcoming deliveries
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and work area at all times
- Adapt and support wherever the team needs you - volume can shift with little notice
