Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Restaurant or retail experience preferred
- Ability to withstand prolonged walking or standing for eight hours or more
- Capacity for frequent bending, stooping, crouching, climbing, reaching, balancing, pushing, and pulling items weighing 40 pounds or more
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in restaurant or retail, kitchen line cook, busser, server, expediter, or service staff preferred
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn quickly and be flexible with work assignments
- Knowledge of food safety standards
Job Duties
- Prepares bakery offerings, jerky, fudge, BBQ, and other menu items according to prescribed recipes
- Maintains confidentiality of Buc-ee's unique food service menu
- Adheres to company culinary recipes and measurements
- Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Guarantees safe food handling
- Uses menu ordering kiosks, kitchen management systems, and transaction devices competently
- Maintains a clean workstation while efficiently executing orders
- Provides responsive communication with management and associates
- Safely operates kitchen equipment including floor mixers, slicers, ovens, knives, and fryers
- Interacts professionally with team members and customers
- Performs duties outside normal responsibilities as needed
- Works weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
- Maintains regular and prompt attendance
- Performs essential duties with or without accommodation
