This role centers around exceeding service standards by delivering prompt, quality coffee selection, purchase, and preparation. The barista position at King Soopers involves direct customer interaction where providing exceptional service is paramount. - High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus six months of experience in customer service
- ability to complete initial store training and pass barista certification with a score of 90 percent or better
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Model customer first behavior

- maintain cleanliness of customer service area and equipment
- prepare a variety of customer beverage orders such as espresso drinks and Coffee of the Day to standard
- follow store policies and procedures
- perform cleaning tasks in accordance with the duty rosters and cleaning standards
- follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing all products
- follow cash handling and register policies
- follow inventory stocking and recording guidelines
- work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment
- manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
- act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues
