Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous food service or retail experience helpful
- ability to stand for extended periods
- basic math skills
- good communication skills
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to pass food safety training
- compliance with all Kroger policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service
- establish and maintain a safe and clean environment
- assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals
- monitor all established quality assurance standards
- prepare food items for cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars per customer requests
- measure, prepare, and mix ingredients using kitchen utensils and equipment
- ensure all deli items are labeled, dated, covered, rotated, and monitored for quality and freshness
- gain and maintain product knowledge
- provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling
- adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
- perform essential functions and other duties as assigned
