The Delicatessen Clerk at Hy-Vee plays a vital role in the delicatessen department, responsible for maintaining the standards of food handling, preparation, and customer interaction. Job Requirements

must be 18+
less than high school or equivalent experience
six months or less of similar or related work experience
ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
ability to solve arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals and percentages
able to perform medium work involving lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions
must adhere to company personal hygiene and dress guidelines
must pass pre-employment drug screen
