We are currently seeking dedicated full-time Deli/Bakery Associates to join our team at Walmart Supercenter #2871. The primary role of Deli/Bakery associates encompasses the preparation of high-quality deli and bakery products that meet our customers' expectations. This role requires associates to engage actively with customers at the service counter, providing assistance and answering questions to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintaining product freshness and merchandising the deli or bakery section on the salesfloor is a key part of daily responsibilities, ensuring the area is appealing and well-stocked. Associates are also responsible for adhering strictly to cleaning protocols and maintaining food safety standards to ensure customer health and regulatory compliance. Given the fast-paced retail environment, associates need to be adaptable, organized, and possess strong communication skills to liaise effectively with coworkers and customers alike.

The compensation for this position ranges from $21 to $34 per hour, depending on relevant factors such as schedule and location. In addition, employees may earn annual or quarterly performance incentives to reward outstanding work. Additional premiums could also apply in specific circumstances, such as seasonal demands, particular work schedules, or facility-specific conditions, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour. Multiple premiums can be combined where criteria are met.
