The position may also include additional compensation through annual or quarterly performance incentives as well as premiums that range from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific tasks performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

The core responsibility for Deli / Bakery associates is to prepare quality deli and bakery products that meet Walmart’s standards and customer expectations. Associates engage directly with customers at the service counter, helping them find products or answering questions, thus playing a key role in Walmart’s customer service experience. They are also responsible for merchandising, moving incoming products from the backroom to the sales floor efficiently and neatly.
