Associates receive paid time off (PTO) and/or paid personal time off (PPTO) that can be used for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other needs, with amounts depending on job classification and length of service. The company also offers parental leave, family care leave, bereavement leave, jury duty pay, and voting leave to support associates during important life events.

Additional benefits include short-term and long-term disability coverage, company discounts, Military Leave Pay, and adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement. Walmart also provides educational benefits through its Live Better U program, which covers tuition, books, and fees for various learning opportunities including high school completion, bachelor’s degrees, English language learning, and certificate programs. This program is available to both full-time and part-time associates at Walmart and Sam’s Club locations.
