With a wide variety of departments and services, Walmart Supercenter #1263 serves as a convenient, one-stop shopping destination for the local community and visitors alike. The store is staffed by a diverse team of associates who work together to uphold Walmart's standards of excellence in retail.
The Deli/Bakery Associate role at Walmart Supercenter #1263 is a full-time position focused on delivering high-quality food products and exceptional customer interactions. Maintaining cleanliness and adhering strictly to food safety regulations are critical components of this role, contributing to product quality and customer health.
Employee compensation ranges between $17 and $30 per hour, contingent upon experience and other relevant factors, with potential additional earnings through annual or quarterly performance incentives. There may also be supplementary pay in the form of premiums varying from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedules, specific facilities, seasons, or particular work performed. These premiums can stack if multiple criteria apply.
As a Deli/Bakery Associate, you will work mid-shift and closing shift schedules, providing essential support to ensure the department operates smoothly and meets customer needs efficiently. Walmart prioritizes creating a positive work environment and supports its associates with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include medical, vision, and dental insurance; financial benefits such as 401(k), stock purchase options, and company-paid life insurance; paid time off including parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting leave; plus disability coverage, company discounts, military leave pay, adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, and more.
Walmart also offers the Live Better U education program, a valuable benefit allowing associates to pursue high school completion, bachelor’s degrees, English Language Learning, and short-form certificates with full tuition, book, and fee coverage. This initiative reflects Walmart’s commitment to employee growth and development.
