Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
- availability to work full-time during opening and morning shifts
- comply with Walmart's drug-free workplace policy
- able to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- basic math and reading skills
- willingness to learn and work as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in deli, bakery or food service is an advantage
- strong customer service skills
- ability to operate deli and bakery equipment safely
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- engage with customers at the service counter providing friendly and efficient service
- move incoming merchandise to salesfloor ensuring accurate stock levels
- maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards
- assist in the organization and presentation of product displays
- comply with all health and safety regulations
- support team efforts to meet department goals
