Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in deli or bakery operations is an asset
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to work flexible shifts including opening, morning, mid-shift, and closing
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory
Job Duties
- prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- engage with customers at the service counter providing assistance and information
- move incoming merchandise to the sales floor ensuring proper placement
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
- adhere to food safety standards and protocols
- assist in merchandising and product display
- support team in achieving department goals
