Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- availability to work full-time including mid-shift and closing shifts
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving merchandise
- compliance with Walmart's drug-free workplace policy
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to follow food safety guidelines
- reliable and punctual work attendance
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food preparation or customer service is advantageous
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards is a plus
- ability to work flexible shifts including mid-shift and closing
Job Duties
- prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- engage with customers at the service counter delivering friendly and efficient service
- move incoming merchandise from the backroom to the salesfloor
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli and bakery departments
- ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
- assist in inventory management and restocking of items as needed
- operate deli and bakery equipment safely and efficiently
