The role available is a part-time Food Service Worker position in the Deli department at the Mount Laurel, NJ Wegmans location. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $17 to $17.50 and requires availability for afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends. As a Food Service Worker, you will be an essential part of the deli team, responsible for ensuring that customers have access to the freshest deli meats, cheeses, and meal solutions. Your tasks will include slicing, packaging, and labeling deli products to complete customer orders with precision and care. Providing excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and offering product recommendations is a key aspect of this role. You will also maintain the presentation and cleanliness of deli and self-service cases, making certain they are well-stocked and appealing to customers. Inventory management duties such as unloading deliveries, stocking cases, displays, and backroom coolers, as well as rotating products for freshness, will also be part of your responsibilities. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will collaborate closely with other team members to deliver an outstanding deli experience that meets Wegmans’ high standards.
