Job Requirements

  • basic knowledge of food safety standards
  • previous experience in the food service industry
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
  • strong communication skills
  • leadership capability
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the deli area

Job Qualifications

  • experience in a similar position especially with a restaurant or foodservice background
  • incredible customer service skills and the ability to help maintain a customer focused culture
  • ability to maintain equipment according to food safety standards
  • ability to work as part of a team and interact with different levels from hourly team members customers vendors and corporate representatives
  • must be able to work a flexible schedule of nights days weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • supervise team members in the hot deli area
  • assist the deli manager in maintaining food freshness
  • ensure the hot deli area is clean and well stocked
  • provide excellent guest service
  • monitor food safety standards
  • maintain equipment according to food safety guidelines
  • work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
