Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in food service or a relevant supervisory role
  • knowledge of food safety standards
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • ability to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to maintain food quality and sanitation
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and handle deli supplies

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar position especially with a restaurant or foodservice background
  • incredible customer service skills and the ability to maintain a customer focused culture
  • ability to maintain equipment according to food safety standards
  • ability to work as part of a team and interact with different levels of staff, customers, vendors, and corporate representatives
  • must be able to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Supervise team members in the hot deli area
  • assist the Deli Manager by ensuring food in the hot deli is fresh
  • maintain cleanliness and stocking of the deli area
  • provide excellent guest service
  • ensure compliance with food safety standards
  • maintain equipment according to food safety standards
  • work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
