Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Champion company and division customer service programs
  • Handle customer relations including effective resolution of complaints
  • Supervise day-to-day functions of the service deli
  • Conduct daily inspections and initiate corrective measures
  • Assist with service deli duties such as receiving, cleaning, preparing, cooking and slicing
  • Implement promotional and seasonal displays
  • Control shrink and expenses
  • Complete and monitor daily logs, purchase reports, sales and labor paperwork
  • Order, check, receive and control inventory
  • Ensure proper merchandising according to schematics and advertising
  • Comply with retail labeling laws and food safety standards
  • Handle re-worked and reduced-to-clear items per company policy
  • Assist customers with special orders and suggestive selling
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of sales floor and work areas
  • Respond to incoming calls and customer complaints
  • Assist with emergency procedures
  • Schedule and train service deli associates
  • Monitor and report associate performance
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Perform all duties safely and honestly
