Job Requirements
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- food handlers certificate (servsafe or ANSI compliant organization)
- 18+ years old
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays
- basic math skills
- ability to follow directions with attention to detail
- conversational english skills
- basic cooking/grilling skills
- demonstrates proper food handling and safety procedures

- basic math skills
- conversational english skills required when working with customers
- bilingual proficiency preferred
Job Duties
- complete prep work for various areas of the deli including but not limited to panini/sandwich prep packer prep cook and salad bar production
- follow and complete daily production sheets
- aid with preparation of products according to the company’s specifications and recipes
- wash soak cut peel and chop ingredients by hand or machine
- package weigh and label products using the cry-o-vac (ROP) when appropriate
- consistently check and record all food temperatures in proper logs
- accurately practice FIFO product rotation to minimize and control spoilage and waste
- organize rotate and stock workstation and department supplies
- clean and sanitize work areas utensils and equipment
- operation of equipment such as stoves fryers ovens
- answers phones and pages promptly and courteously
- follow and comply with established procedures including weights and measures health and sanitation and safe work practices
- immediately reports safety hazards and violations to supervisors
- performs opening mid and closing duties as assigned
- works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings
- other duties as assigned by supervisors
