Role Overview: The Deli Dishwasher at Sendik's Food Markets is a critical team member, serving as the backbone of the Deli Department. This role demands meticulous attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and organization to ensure a high standard of food safety and customer satisfaction. The Deli Dishwasher is responsible for the thorough washing of dishes and utensils used by both the Deli and Bakery departments and maintaining a spotless, safe workspace. In addition to dishwashing duties, the individual will assist with cleaning deli equipment such as slicers, energy machines, and the dishwasher itself. This role also includes participation in mentoring new associates, helping build a cohesive and skilled team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. They will contribute to Sendik's trademark culture by engaging with customers using the 10/4 rule – acknowledging customers every 10 feet and maintaining eye contact for 4 seconds.
