Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- availability to work Saturday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10am to 6pm
- ability to move frequently on hard surfaces
- ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently and heavier objects with assistance
- willingness to work in indoor environments with exposure to temperature extremes and cleaning agents
- regular, predictable full attendance
Job Qualifications
- Work experience in deli department preferred
- prior experience operating manual and power slicers and scales preferred
- knowledge of deli products preferred
- at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Provide high level of customer service to members
- answer questions and recommend deli items
- answer member calls and take special orders
- slice, package, and weigh deli products including cheeses and meats
- assist members in selecting products
- prepare and package special orders and party trays
- receive and inspect deli shipments
- display, stock, rotate, and store deli products following food safety and handling policies
- ensure all products are fresh and meet quality standards
- check for out-of-date products daily
- ensure deli cooler shelves and cases have a wide variety of products
- operate deli equipment safely
- clean and sanitize deli equipment and food surfaces
- ensure scale systems are working and items are weighed and priced accurately
- maintain club policies and procedures
- perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- regular and predictable full attendance
