Job Requirements

be at least 18 years of age
have a high school diploma or equivalent
experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field or an acceptable combination of education and experience
be dependable and reliable
have an outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
good communication skills and ability to take direction and participate in a team
able to answer phones and take special orders
physically able to lift/carry product up to 70 lbs
able to stand for up to 4 hours continuously, for up to 8 hours per shift
perform general housekeeping, clean and sanitize work areas
operate slicing, wrapping and cooking equipment and assist in maintaining equipment
adhere to all safety, health, and weights and measures regulations
achieve and maintain Food Handlers permit
able to work in different temperature environments including cooler and freezer
other related duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

prepare fresh and easy meals for customers
provide high-quality customer service in the Deli department
arrange vegetables, sliced meats, and cheeses for made-to-order sandwiches
assist customers with catering orders
maintain food safety standards and adhere to health regulations
operate slicing, wrapping, and cooking equipment
perform general housekeeping and sanitation duties in the Deli area
