At Pilot Company, team members play a crucial role in enhancing guest experiences by delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining high operational standards. Employment at Pilot Company is characterized by a collaborative culture where team members support one another and contribute to an inclusive, supportive work environment. The company also encourages internal mobility, providing opportunities for employees to train for and transition into other roles within travel centers and restaurants.

This particular role focuses on food preparation and customer service within the company's store-baked goods offerings. Team members in this position are responsible for preparing, packaging, and selling food products according to company standards, organizing and stocking work areas, and adhering strictly to food safety and handling protocols. They must be able to operate computers, telephones, and other essential equipment efficiently while maintaining a high degree of accuracy in sales transactions. The role demands strong interpersonal skills to maintain a guest-focused culture and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a similar role and may possess ServSafe certification, though this is preferred rather than required. Flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to work nights, days, weekends, and holidays, is highly desirable.

Pilot Company is committed to equal employment opportunities and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds, including military personnel. This position offers a chance to join a company that values professionalism, respect, and a dedication to making each guest's visit the best it can be. Employees benefit from programs focused on wellness, rewards and recognition, professional development, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, and adoption assistance.
