Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain the same
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
- Ability to operate deli equipment according to company guidelines
- Ability to work varied shifts
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and pull up to 250 lbs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
- Ability to operate deli equipment such as slicer, oven, scale, knives, box cutter and pricing gun
- Minimum of 0-3 years supervisory experience preferred
- Fluent in English preferred
- Spanish language skills a plus
Job Duties
- Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated
- Deliver daily conditions that meet product availability, freshness, quality and value
- Offer product samples, answer product questions and assist customers
- Fulfill customer requests and special orders
- Collaborate with associates and communicate company and job information
- Maintain awareness of inventory and report discrepancies
- Prepare, package, label and display products for sale
- Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines and safety programs
- Report safety risks, illegal activities, and adhere to wage and hour policies
- Execute product recalls and withdrawals promptly
