Team Leaders are responsible for supervising and managing the workforce during their shifts, guiding up to seven team members, and assisting with staffing decisions such as recommending candidates for hire and addressing disciplinary matters. Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance
- Food Handlers certification may be required
- Ability to stand and walk approximately 95-100 percent of shift
- Ability to bend, reach, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Open availability to work any shifts as needed
- 1-2 years experience in quick service or guest service supervisory role preferred
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in quick service restaurant environment
- Demonstrated ability to ensure guest satisfaction
- Ability to train and maintain guest service delivery
- Ability to be a leadership partner with management and staff
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to motivate and lead staff to achieve goals
- General knowledge of computers and POS systems
- Basic business math skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to assess and evaluate safety hazards
- Ability to communicate and maintain effective relationships
- Ability to read, write and speak English effectively
Job Duties
- Support Restaurant Manager in supervising team delivering quality, guest service, food cost, labor cost, safety, security, cleanliness and product preparation
- Run shifts and manage execution of company policies, procedures, programs and systems
- Know all work station functions and complete necessary paperwork
- Supervise 1 to 7 team members
- Ensure objectives are reached following company guidelines
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and ethical practices
- Provide leadership, direction, training and development to restaurant team
- Support staffing decisions including interviews and disciplinary actions
- Use Point of Sale system to process orders and handle payments
- Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards
- Make recommendations to enhance restaurant operations
- Attend business meetings for training and development
- Implement training and development plans
- Perform other assigned responsibilities as needed while clocked in
