Job Description

Our client is a leading transportation company specializing in dedicated deliveries, particularly focused on transporting ATVs to dealerships across various regions. Known for its commitment to safety, reliability, and excellent driver care, the company offers a stable and rewarding work environment for experienced Class A drivers. This company prides itself on maintaining a low turnover rate, an indicator of its supportive culture and strong employee satisfaction. Recognizing the physical demands of the driving profession, the employer provides competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and sign-on bonuses to attract skilled drivers who meet rigorous safety and performance standards.

The current opening is for Class A drivers who have at least one year of Class A driving experience within the last five years, with a minimum of six months in the last two years. The position revolves around managing a dedicated account delivering ATVs to dealerships. Drivers are paid between $90,000 and $100,000 annually, with a performance-based $6,000 sign-on bonus. They earn between $0.58 and $0.60 per mile plus a $75 ranger fee per load and a $12 securement fee for each ATV. Drivers will be responsible for securing their load and off-loading ATVs safely at dealership locations. Deliveries predominantly occur during business hours, though some flexibility is required for later deliveries. The top drivers average around 2,770 miles weekly, while the overall fleet averages approximately 2,665 miles per week.

The role requires drivers to work 14 to 21 days consecutively followed by 3 to 4 days off. One attractive feature for drivers is the option to take their truck home, enhancing convenience and work-life balance. The position permits drivers to bring pets starting from day one, provided the rider is 12 years or older, reflecting the company’s driver-friendly policies.

New hires receive their sign-on bonus in installments: $1,000 after the first load, then $2,500 at both the six-month and one-year marks of employment. Medical, dental, and paid time off benefits commence the first Monday following 30 days of employment, while 401(k) investment options begin immediately. These comprehensive benefits underline the company's commitment to employee health, financial security, and overall well-being.

This role is physically demanding, involving strapping and unloading carts, which requires drivers to be fit and capable of manual labor. Drivers must uphold impeccable safety records, including no major moving violations in the past three years and a limited number of minor violations or accidents. Maintaining compliance with DOT drug testing, DUI restrictions, and criminal background checks is essential. Overall, this role provides an excellent opportunity for skilled Class A drivers looking for a stable, well-compensated position with solid benefits and a supportive work environment.
