Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in baking or a related culinary field preferred
  • must obtain food safety certification
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods
  • strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • willingness to adhere to company uniform and personal protective equipment policies
  • knowledge of basic math and numerical operations
  • commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards in the workplace

Job Qualifications

  • experience in baking or a related role is preferred
  • thorough knowledge of baking techniques, guidelines, and adherence to sanitation regulations
  • certification for earning food safety certification(s) is compulsory
  • competency in basic arithmetic and numerical calculations
  • possesses exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting proficiency in both written and verbal forms of expression
  • physical capability to manage duties like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing
  • ability to follow uniform guidelines and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE)

Job Duties

  • create a selection of baked treats by adhering to production standards and following prescribed recipes
  • arrange your work surface with all the essential supplies and ingredients for baking
  • put together the components by quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and carrying out other necessary preparations
  • operate baking tools such as ovens, stoves, and mixers
  • take precautions to use utensils, like knives, safely and effectively during meal preparation
  • adhere to guidelines for the safe storage of food products
  • follow proper hygiene protocols by sanitizing work areas, equipment, and utensils after each use
  • sustain high levels of customer service and project a positive outlook when interacting with guests, clients, customers, and colleagues
  • comply with Aramark's safety policies, which involve observing appropriate food handling and hygiene practices
  • uphold the safety of organizational assets by complying with established security guidelines
