Job Requirements

  • Experience in baking or a related role
  • Knowledge of baking techniques and sanitation regulations
  • Food safety certification
  • Competency in basic arithmetic
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods
  • Compliance with uniform guidelines and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in baking or a related role is preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of baking techniques and guidelines
  • Certification for earning food safety certification(s)
  • Competency in basic arithmetic and numerical calculations
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in written and verbal forms
  • Ability to manage physical duties such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing

Job Duties

  • Create a selection of baked treats by adhering to production standards and following prescribed recipes
  • Arrange work surface with all essential supplies and ingredients for baking
  • Put together components by quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and carrying out other necessary preparations
  • Operate baking tools such as ovens, stoves, and mixers
  • Take precautions to use utensils like knives safely and effectively during meal preparation
  • Adhere to guidelines for safe storage of food products
  • Follow proper hygiene protocols by sanitizing work areas, equipment, and utensils after each use
  • Sustain high levels of customer service and project a positive outlook when interacting with guests, clients, customers, and colleagues
  • Comply with Aramark's safety policies, including food handling and hygiene practices
  • Uphold the safety of organizational assets by complying with established security guidelines
