The role of Cake Decorator at Fresco y Mas is an essential position within the bakery department, responsible for producing decorated baked goods that meet the company’s standards of quality and presentation. The Cake Decorator crafts high-quality decorated cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other bakery items using both commercial decoration kits and freehand decorating skills. This position supports daily bakery operations, contributing to the overall success of the department by maintaining product freshness, quality assurance, and efficient workflow processes.

As a Cake Decorator, you will be a key contributor to enhancing customer loyalty by creating visually appealing and fresh products paired with courteous and knowledgeable service. You will ensure that customer requests and special orders are met with precision and care, utilizing both technical skills and customer service acumen. This role demands a blend of creativity and operational discipline, where decoration artistry meets adherence to food safety and company policies.

Your daily duties will include preparing and decorating bakery merchandise according to customer specifications, processing and baking goods following production guidelines, and maintaining an organized and efficient method for handling customer orders. Additionally, you will be charged with monitoring inventory for freshness, rotating stock properly, managing bakery equipment operation, and complying with all safety and sanitary regulations. Experience with computerized applications relevant to bakery operations and a food safety certification or the ability to obtain one within 180 days are required.

Job Duties
