Job Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid government-issued identification
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Negative TB test
Job Qualifications
- Current Arizona Direct Care Worker (DCW) certification
- Previous caregiving, home care, or direct support experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
- Ability to follow care plans and safety procedures
- Comfortable using a smartphone for scheduling, documentation, and electronic timekeeping
Job Duties
- Provide non-medical care and support services in clients' homes
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization
- Provide medication reminders as directed
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community activities as needed
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and social engagement
- Observe and report changes in clients' condition or environment to supervisors
