Job Requirements
- 1+ years experience in custodial duties
- ability to multitask
- ability to work well in a team environment
- high school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- basic knowledge of grounds keeping (preferred)
- basic experience operating grounds maintenance equipment (preferred)
- fluency in Spanish (preferred)
Job Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in custodial duties in a building, hotel, or distribution center
- ability to multitask and work well in a team environment
- high school diploma or equivalent (GED) desired
- basic knowledge of grounds keeping including lawn mowing, weeding, trimming, etc. desired
- basic experience in operating lawn mowers, weed trimmers desired
- fluency in multiple languages, Spanish highly desired
Job Duties
- Perform housekeeping and janitorial duties in all areas of the distribution center
- communicate custodial or housekeeping issues to maintenance supervisor, assistant maintenance supervisor, or DC management team
- perform maintenance duties for outside grounds of distribution center buildings
- empty trash containers, cardboard containers, and sweep all floor areas of the distribution center
- operate floor scrubbing equipment and cardboard baler
- maintain janitorial equipment and supplies such as brooms, dust mops, wet mops, mop buckets
- assist maintenance team in maintaining and organizing tote repair area
- maintain supplies of paper products and hand cleaner in all restrooms and break room areas
- assist maintenance department in maintaining building grounds such as snow removal, lawn mowing, trash collection
- assist maintenance team with general maintenance duties as required
- maintain safety standards while operating equipment and identify unsafe practices and situations
- perform all other duties as assigned
