Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as cleaning standards, operating instructions, and Material Safety Data Sheets
- ability to communicate effectively with groups of customers or employees
- ability to use proper grammar and pronunciation
- basic mathematical skills including add, subtract, multiply and divide
- ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
- ability to interpret technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables
- physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Ensure that the building and grounds are kept clean and sanitary in accordance with established cleaning standards
- perform any service to maintain the comfort, cleanliness, and wellbeing of members or guests
- operate cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums
- follow safety protocols including handling of cleaning chemicals as per MSDS
- assist in routine maintenance duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities Management
- communicate effectively with members, guests, and staff to resolve cleanliness related issues
- lift and move objects up to 50 pounds as required
