In addition to routine cleaning duties, the Day Porter also regularly inspects restrooms, empties and cleans exterior trash receptacles, sweeps stairwells and building entrances, and removes debris from landscaped areas. The position requires proactive engagement in policing lobbies and public spaces to keep floors and planters free of litter during peak traffic times. The Day Porter also assists the building engineer with additional duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Safety is a critical aspect of this role. The Day Porter must observe safety and security protocols, report unsafe conditions or maintenance issues such as burnt-out lights or potential hazards, and use cleaning equipment and materials properly. The environment can include exposure to outdoor weather, mechanical parts, fumes, and chemicals, so adherence to safety guidelines is essential.

The company's core values guide every team member to provide the best employee and customer experience possible. Additionally, employees benefit from innovative payroll solutions such as DailyPay which allows workers to receive compensation on the same day, enhancing financial flexibility and job satisfaction.
