This role is for a Barista position within a Scooter's Coffee franchise. As a Barista, you will play a key role in maintaining the brand's mission and principles by delivering outstanding customer experiences. This employment opportunity is with a franchisee, who acts as an independent business owner managing the employment terms, wage, and benefits. The Barista position requires a positive attitude and passion for the food and beverage industry. You will be part of an energetic team dedicated to providing excellent customer service and ensuring the company’s touchstones are embraced and modeled every day.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving specialty coffee and tea beverages, adhering to company recipes and presentation standards, and engaging with both new and returning customers using effective communication and up-selling techniques. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of your work station along with following all health and safety guidelines is also critical to the position. The fast-paced environment will require efficient multitasking and prioritization skills, as well as the ability to contribute to a positive and supportive team culture. Job Requirements

Must be at least 15 years old
1+ years of customer service experience preferred
must be able to deal professionally and tactfully with customers and co-workers at all times
must have good interpersonal communication skills
must work efficiently in a quick-paced environment requiring multi-tasking and prioritization
must be able to work a flexible schedule
must be punctual, dependable and reliable
must be able to contribute to a positive team environment
most physical exertion is in the 'low' range, requiring exertion of less than 5 pounds of force fairly regularly
may occasionally require exertion of up to 25 pounds
job includes major amounts of reaching, standing, walking, talking and hearing
must have a sufficient visual acuity to determine accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of work assigned to employees, and to make general inspections of the work area
environmental conditions include a mild to moderate noise level
