This role is for a Supervisor at ABM responsible for overseeing projects and supervising day-to-day team operations on a designated site. The position involves ensuring that performance goals are consistently met, handling administrative tasks, and acting as the key liaison between clients and the service delivery staff. The Supervisor will establish and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on quality service and problem resolution. This position requires availability for emergency and off-hour support, promoting a strong safety culture, and training staff in personal protective equipment usage, building security protocols, and safe cleaning practices. The Supervisor will manage staffing schedules to meet service expectations, provide leadership in handling client-reported emergency cleaning situations, and train employees on the proper use and storage of cleaning supplies and chemicals.

In addition to operational oversight, the Supervisor will monitor employee timekeeping for policy compliance, identify opportunities to increase revenue through additional billable project work, and ensure continuity of service by arranging staff substitutions or performing duties as necessary during employee absences. The pay ranges from $25 per hour for first and second shifts to $26 per hour for the third shift, with actual offers varying based on experience, skills, location, and market alignment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of experience supervising employees
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • Experience in commercial cleaning industry preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Detail-oriented with multitasking and prioritization capabilities

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience supervising employees
  • Experience with commercial cleaning industry is a big plus
  • Experience effectively managing teams including staff retention, counseling, and developing team members
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including ability to deliver presentations
  • Resourceful team player with a positive outlook and approachable demeanor
  • High school diploma or GED

Job Duties

  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships with a positive customer service orientation
  • Serve as main point-of-contact for client liaisons, meeting regularly to confirm quality standards are met and service issues are promptly resolved
  • Provide leadership and support while being available for emergency and off-hour support
  • Promote strong safety culture and work environment
  • Train staff to utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safe movement practices
  • Plan and assign work schedules to ensure service delivery expectations are achieved
