The General Warehouse Associate position at the TJ Maxx Distribution Center in San Antonio, TX, is a crucial role for maintaining the seamless flow of goods from receipt to shipment. This full-time day shift role operates Monday through Thursday from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, offering a competitive hourly wage of $18.00 and additional pay incentives based on production levels. Manual material handling is an important part of the job, requiring associates to frequently lift items weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work Monday through Thursday 5:00am to 3:30pm
- Ability to manually handle packages up to 60 lbs
- Willingness to work in various warehouse departments if needed
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Compliance with company policies and safety standards

- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is an asset but not required

Job Duties
- Count, select and sort objects such as totes, boxes, merchandise, or other items as assigned
- Match receipts against purchase orders
- Ticket merchandise or other items with gum labels, ticketing gun, or pin tickets
- Pack or unpack merchandise
- Seal boxes for shipping when packing is completed
- Manual material handling of objects such as totes, boxes, garments or other items up to 10 lbs constantly, up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 60 lbs occasionally
