It is part of the global Jubilant Pharma family, which brings together a robust network focused on producing lifechanging medicines worldwide. Jubilant HollisterStier specializes in the manufacturing of sterile injectable vials and lyophilized products, earning national recognition for its expertise in these areas. Moreover, the company operates a globally leading Allergy business that produces allergenic extracts essential for the treatment of allergies and asthma, reflecting its commitment to improving patient health on a global scale.
Founded with a focus on innovation, quality, and sustainability, Jubilant HollisterStier fosters a workplace culture where builders, innovators, and doers thrive. The company places a high value on problem solving, system improvement, and building real, impactful solutions that resonate on a worldwide platform. Employees here can expect to make immediate contributions that support the manufacturing of essential medicines and allergenic therapies used by patients everywhere. This environment encourages continuous improvement, hands-on involvement, and innovation, backed by the stability of a long-established industry leader with a forward-looking approach.
The current opportunity is for the role of Day Porter, a vital position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) production areas and common facility spaces at the Jubilant HollisterStier Spokane site. This full-time, on-site role operates Monday through Friday and offers a competitive starting wage ranging from $23.68 to $32.01 per hour, with clear opportunities for growth, promotion, and annual raises based on performance and longevity.
The Day Porter plays a critical role in ensuring adherence to stringent GMP cleaning and sanitation standards. This requires a thorough understanding of safety protocols, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and the ability to perform light maintenance and facility support functions. The role involves waste management, operating mobile equipment, and utilizing enterprise systems like SAP CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and Microsoft Office tools such as Excel to document and track work activities effectively.
Those who succeed in this role are detail-oriented, accountable, and able to work independently while supporting broader team operations. Exposure to GMP manufacturing environments, cleanrooms, warehouse, and office spaces is part of the job, along with handling cleaning chemicals, noise, waste materials, and variable temperatures. Safety and compliance are paramount, with all activities conducted in strict accordance with GMP, safety, and sanitation procedures.
Employee well-being is a priority at Jubilant HollisterStier, reflected by the immediate start of comprehensive benefits on the very first day of employment. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible spending accounts (FSA/HSA), life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, and access to an employee assistance program. This suite of benefits supports the health, stability, and long-term success of employees and their families without any waiting periods.
