Day Porter - PM Shift, Part-Time

As part of our expanding team, we are currently seeking a dependable and energetic Day Porter to join our workforce. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our client facilities during daytime hours. The Day Porter is responsible for a broad range of cleaning tasks aimed at preserving the overall appearance and operational condition of the buildings we serve. Ideal candidates will possess some prior cleaning experience as well as a basic understanding of the use and handling of various cleaning products and safety standards. In this position, attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.

The Day Porter will be entrusted with routine and preventative maintenance duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, disinfecting restrooms, emptying trash and recycling bins, and ensuring that outdoor pathways are clear from debris and snow. Additional responsibilities include minor repairs, setting up and dismantling equipment for events or meetings, and working collaboratively with contract cleaning services when necessary. This role requires timely completion of tasks with minimal supervision, enforcing safety standards within the facility, and maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies.
